ALARIS member Dr. Almas Shintemirov presented a paper at The 10th IEEE/ASME International Conference on Mechatronic and Embedded Systems and Applications (MESA’14), Senigallia, Italy, September 2014 was held in Senigallia, Ancona, Italy from September 10th to 12th, 2014. The objective of the conference was to bring together experts from the fields of mechatronic and embedded systems, disseminate the recent advances made in the area, discuss future research directions, and exchange application experience.
At the conference Dr. Almas Shintemirov presented the research paper titled “An Open-Source 3D Printed Underactuated Robotic Gripper” which was written by ALARIS group members Mr.Yedige Tlegenov, Mr. Kuat Telegenov and Dr. A. Shintemirov.
In addition, Dr. Shintemirov established contacts with Professor J. Angeles from McGill University, Canada, who is the very famous for his work in the field of parallel robotics and novel robotic system design and analysis.
